“Rescuing Rococo” is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy. This quest starts at Agnes Coffey in Bainburgh and takes you to Henrietta’s Hideout. In this guide, you will find out how to save the Niffler “Rococo” and solve the puzzles of this quest.
Start “Rescuing Rococo”
“Rescuing Rococo” is a side quest in Hogwarts Legacy. You can get them from Agnes Coffey in Bainburgh. Agnes tells you that her Niffler “Rococo” is gone and she thinks he is in Henrietta’s Hideout. Due to the traps and dangers, Agnes is unable to retrieve her beast herself and asks for your help.

Find Henrietta’s Hideout
You can find Henrietta’s Hideout far to the south of the Hogwarts Legacy world map. The quest marker will guide you to the location. The screenshots below show the ruins of a castle. Below these ruins is the entrance to Henrietta’s Hideout:
Henrietta’s Hideout Puzzle 1
When you arrive at Henrietta’s Hideout, some puzzles are waiting for you. After entering this place, you will see two plates on the floor where you have to place the cubes. You probably already know this kind of puzzle from the quest A Bird in the Hand. A cube is already right before you. You can find the second cube by igniting the braziers in front of the left statue with, for example, Confringo.
Now lift out the cube with Accio and place it on the second plate on the floor. When both cubes are placed, you must cast the following spells as shown on the cube itself:
- Red cube: Icendio
- Blue cube: Glacius
Find Rococo: Floor Plate
In Henrietta’s Hideout, you can now follow the small bags, each containing a galleon. This leads you to the stairs on the left and to a room in the back. This is the same room you’d need for the quest “Solved by the Bell” mentioned above. If you follow the galleons, you will come to a point where a trap will teleport you backward. The trap works through a ground element that you can highlight with Revelio.

Find Rococo: Cube Puzzle
After that, some opponents are waiting for you again. Defeat them and head to the back of the room. On the right side is a spot where the wall will disappear when you get close by.
Enter the room and take out the cube. Place it on the floor panel in the large room. You can find the second cube with Revelio on the upper floor in the large room. However, you cannot get to the upper floor on the left side of the room. Instead, go up the stairs on the right and use Accio to pull the cube down. Place both cubes on their respective plates on the floor and cast these spells:
- Red cube: Icendio
- Blue cube: Levioso
In the following screenshot, you can see the large room and the two cubes. One is already levitating due to Levioso and the other cube is highlighted in white.
After casting both spells a new door will open for you to walk through. In the screenshot above, the door is visible on the left side. Go through the door and walk to the end of the hall. Here you’ll find Rococo. You can capture Rococo like any beast in Hogwarts Legacy. Now, return to Agnes Coffey and complete the quest “Rescuing Rococo” by talking to her.
